How to Make the Most of the Clean Show 2022

For nearly five decades, the Clean Show has been the premier event for the commercial laundering, dry cleaning, and textile service industry. After 3 years, experts, attendees, and exhibitors are itching to make the 2022 return its best edition yet. Whether you’re in the industry, looking to enter, or just interested, Clean Show is the event for you.

This year, Clean Show will take place from Saturday, July 30th to Tuesday, August 2nd at the Georgia World Congress Center in the heart of Atlanta. Attendees can expect over 11,000 participants, 400 exhibitors, and hours of educational content to help push the cleaning and laundering industry towards new heights. Register here to attend Clean 2022!

2. Attend training sessions and networking events

There’s no other event in the industry that brings 11,000 people together for the same reason: a passion for laundry. This makes the Clean Show a great place to form and nurture relationships.

  • Come with some questions, curiosities, and problems you want to solve. This will make for the best conversations.

  • Ask people how they’ve navigated the pandemic, how they plan to grow, what works well (or doesn’t), and what makes their laundromat special.

The Clean Show also offers 30+ hours of educational sessions. With dedicated classrooms and expert speakers, you’ll learn to solve problems, get answers to questions, and bring new ideas back to your business. These are some can’t-miss sessions:

4. Join a happy hour

Some of the best chats are over a good drink. After all, Atlanta is home to some of the best cocktail bars in the country. Here are our favorites:

  1. Check out the Grana rooftop for aperitivo happy hour. This southern Italian-inspired restaurant features a gorgeous rooftop bar that offers specials from 4-6 PM including appetizers, pizza, and drinks.

  2. Red Phone Booth, located in downtown Atlanta, offers Craft cocktails, small plates & cigars offered in a chic 1920s prohibition-era speakeasy entered through a phone booth. Guests need a secret number your hotel or local business/restaurant can give you to enter. Call ahead to get more information before going.

  3. Bulla Gastrobar in Midtown is a tapas restaurant offering a handful of daily happy hour deals from 3-6 PM. Bar patrons can order $5 small plates of ham croquettes, potato tortillas, or gazpacho. Larger bites starting at $8 include sautéed garlic shrimp and kale salad as well as cheese and charcuterie boards to pair with a glass of wine or a cocktail.

5. Grab some grub

  1. Local Expedition is Atlanta’s highest-rated restaurant on Yelp, The Local Expedition Wood Fired Grill combines flavors from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Some menu favorites include the LA street corn, local fried covered in special sauce, and crispy potstickers.

  2. DelBar’s cuisine includes a traditional middle eastern menu and a gorgeous patio and sunroom. A tasty brunch menu on the weekends.

  3. Brassica, inspired by the classic French brasserie, incorporates regionally sourced ingredients and a delicious menu inspired by Atlanta’s southern roots. Located within the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. Fabulous drinks and a lovely atmosphere.

6. Visit Atlanta

Atlanta is home to some notable attractions. Whether you’ve brought the family or came by yourself, these are where we'll be stopping during our time at Clean Show.

  1. Visit the largest aquarium in the United States! You'll find many world-class exhibits at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

  2. Get a glimpse into the history of the iconic beverage at World of Coca-Cola, where you’ll find memorabilia, multimedia experiences, have an opportunity to meet the Coca-Cola Polar bear, and taste formulations from around the globe.

  3. The Atlanta BeltLine is a multi-use trail created from an abandoned railway corridor. It is a favorite for Atlantans and visitors alike as it traverses the city, showcasing public art and allowing for easy movement through diverse neighborhoods via bike, skates, walk, and more. There is so much to do off the BeltLine with shopping and hot new restaurants. P.S: Free Sunday yoga on the BeltLine in Old Fourth Ward Park at 6 PM!
